Hello friends! My name is Rebecca Wells and photography is my true passion in life! I love to capture precious moments in time and give people the gift of unforgettable memories. The art of photography is so much more than just posing, smiling and pressing a button. It's bringing out personalities within individuals and watching them interact with the world around them. It's about encompassing the essence of a subject through a lens and preserving that memory forever. When this is accomplished, the end result is truly worth a thousand words.
I enjoy the creative process of designing each shoot to focus on my clients personalities. Sometimes, a park just doesn't cut it and that is A-Okay! Lets explore the endless possibilities out there in this world!
I have had a camera in my hand since I received my first one (a Polaroid) at 10 years old. Through Middle and High School, not a day went by that I did not have a disposable camera in my hand. It was 13 years ago that I received a very loved Minolta film camera with 2 lenses and my entire world changed! I knew then that one day, I wanted to pursue photography as a profession.
I managed a portrait studio franchise for several years in my early 20's and learned so much about composition, lighting, and film processing. Life took me to many places across the Country after that where I photographed as a hobbyist. About 2 years after my son was born, I invested (reluctantly at first) in a digital camera upgrade since film was becoming expensive and more of a hassle. Since then, I have invested countless hours learning techniques to better myself and find my artistic style.
In 2017, I moved here to California where with the support of my husband, I finally made it official and started my photography business. I continue to grow and learn to the best of my ability each day and love every opportunity I get to capture precious moments.
